I am here to meet interesting and intelligent people with a passion for life!  This profile / website is a way to meet some exciting new people to spice-up / connect with the friends that I already have for going out dancing, hiking, to the symphony / experimental music, or to just stay at home cooking a nice meal while sipping an Argentinean syrah and discussing interesting ideas…

I love to go dancing, and will volunteer to be the designated driver;
If we are stuck on a rock face, I do not panic;
I have a book addiction and always want to learn;
I just started speaking Italian at Berlitz, so when I am next in Italy I can ‘go native' [Catalan is next on the list];
I also recently started welding and poi / staff fire-dancing for kicks;
I pick fruit most of the Summer and make a great pie crust from scratch;
I have an uncanny sense of direction, but will also stop to ask for assistance when lost;
I live with a really sweet puppy dog with soft ears [sorry, had to toss that one in there];
I tend to be on time;
I actually enjoy doing taxes;
I eat ice-cream nearly every day, but my waist did not grow with my years, and I plan upon emulating my 92yo uncle whom can now ‘only' swim 50 laps per day;
I delight in cooking up a scrumptious five-course meal for friends, but seem to always burn toast in the oven;
I can tell you a myriad of fun stories about my life, and want to hear all about yours;
I am better then a hot poker in the eye… [smile];
I truly believe that one can have their cake and eat it too!

I have a passion for life, and all of the facets that symbiotically work together to make it worth engaging. I love to travel, whether that is to a foreign land where I do not know the dialect, a spontaneous trip to Denali, or just a new restaurant or farmers market that opened up down the street. When I am not teaching or playing architect, then I love to get outside with my dog for hikes, dance to salsa/techno/bhangra, muck around in the dirt, sculpt beautiful artifacts, practice kendo, read and have random conversations with intelligent friends.
